Hello Traders,

Thanks to those of you who joined us today. I should reiterate that the Monday Market Update is just that. A big picture overview of the markets, with a few ‘charts of interest’ thrown in. There are no trade recommendations, this is not a signal service – just what I am looking at and interested in.

Today we looked at; FX STAM, The Boeing Company ($BA), Metro Bank Holdings ($MTRO), and Costco Wholesale Corporation ($COST).

The Monday Market Update for September 22, 2025, covered the performance of major currencies and indices. The Swiss franc remained the strongest currency for the third consecutive week, followed by the euro. The US dollar showed temporary strength post-FOMC’s 0.25% rate cut. Sterling’s performance was mixed, with strength against some currencies and weakness against others. Key indices like the Dow, S&P, and Russell closed at weekly highs, while the Dax remained in a tactical short. Gold and silver saw significant gains, and Bitcoin showed potential bearish signs. Upcoming economic data and central bank meetings were highlighted as key influencers for the week.

We also covered the usual suspects: $DJIA, $NDX, $SPY, $RTY, $DAX, $FTSE, $N225, $WTI, $XAUUSD, $XAGUSD, $BTCUSD, $USD, $DXY, $JPY, $AUD, $CHF, $NZD and $GBP.

Have a great trading week. We return next week at 1230.

Trade well,

Paul
