18/03/2015: GBPAUD Update and CAC40 Position

Hello traders,

GBPAUD Update: Yesterday I made a video about my two positions in GBPAUD. Today the Touch Barrier Trade at 1.9230 part of the trade was hit. This was a surprise to me as I thought price would just go sideways until after the Budget/FOMC meetings. Anyway I’m happy for my targets to be hit however and whenever they happen so I’m thankful that and will just keep the No-Touch barrier trade running under maintenance by myself.

CAC40: This is a position that has been running for a few weeks now. I did a European Indices Update video a few days back and talked about the CAC in there. What was the reason for my trade? Well I knew that impending EU QE would probably be good for all European stocks and that it may present some opportunities. When the CAC broke its weekly trendline back at the start of the year that gave me enough confidence to start considering a position. I placed a no-touch barrier trade under the major recent low from Oct at 3750 and gave it a 6 months run to provide me with enough reward to risk for my trade. So far I’ve been lucky that the Indices have played ball and kept moving north. My position is in profit and I’ll just monitor and manage it as required.

I hope to see a few of you tonight at the London Traders Network drinks. There promises ot be a good turn-out and a chance for a beer and a chat with other like-minded souls.

Trade well!
