1st November: Monthly Indices candles and some major trick or treating going on! (Video)

Hello traders,

I’m spending my Saturday afternoon working away on projects and thoughts I’d do a quick video on the weeks moves. I know that yesterday was Halloween and I cant help but think that for some traders it really was a horror show yesterday when they saw what happened to markets!  Were they treated or were they tricked by the markets?!? 😉

We all suspected that Yellen would stop QE and re-assure people on rates but I wonder how many people realised a) how the Japanese would respond and b) what impact that would have on markets?

With UK, EU & US data out on Thursday and Friday I reckon that there’ll be a few quiet days next week as analysts and traders sit around scratching their head wondering what happens next.

I’ll do an FX update in the next few days.
