Fellow Trader,
As we are all too well aware, there is a dearth of events for the more educated trader where we have the opportunity to network with our peers, learn from each other, pick up new trading techniques and enjoy a little social banter. Therefore, I am delighted to invite you to the third Traders Forum, which will be taking place on Saturday, 5th October.

This special full-day event will be held at The Hatton, a stylish Art Deco conference centre located in the heart of London’s Diamond District. The Hatton is a few minutes walk from Farringdon and Chancery Lane underground stations and there are three car parks close by.

The Traders Forum will kick off at 9.00 with light refreshments followed by a full day of presentations, rubbing shoulders with market professionals in person and, most importantly, plenty of time to network with your fellow traders and investors in our exclusive lounge area. You are welcome to arrive a little earlier if you would like to join us for breakfast.

At the end of an informative and stimulating day, The Hatton will be laying on an informal reception for us at which we shall enjoy a well-deserved glass of wine or two.

The feedback from the secondTraders Forum speaks for itself:

“Keep up your high standard”

“Varied range of topics, some of which were great new tricks for an old dog”

“I find the quarterly sessions to be very useful and informative so will continue to attend for sure”

“An excellent day. More of the same please”

“Great venue, great food and drink and, most importantly, great people”

We have several guest speakers confirmed for the day with more to follow:

Charlie Burton of EzeeTrader has been trading for 16 years having started his career at a fund management house. He is FSA regulated in London as a money manager but gets most pleasure discussing the correct trading mindset with traders. EzeeTrader was founded by Charlie and his business partner Kym Watson in 2002 and specialises in short term trading techniques. Charlie and Kym also run a very successful online trading room. Always keen to show traders what can be done, Charlie videos his live trades every Friday morning so that traders can see him trading both his winners and his losers!

Charlie’s presentation is entitled How To Turn A $10k Account Into A $100k Account Within 2 Years. How can you resist?

Francis Hunt, aka The Market Sniper, bought his first option at 21 years of age back in 1989 and has been traded equities ever since. He is a technical trader who believes in patiently waiting for high probability trades, hence the Sniper handle. He believes that most people expend too much effort chasing marginal trades. For this reason, Francis coaches his students to trade breakouts from a very specific chart pattern called the ‘Hunt Volatility Funnel‘. This pattern occurs regularly across all markets and timeframes and provides technical levels for both stop losses and profit targets.

Francis also has a broad interest in economics and macro trends. As he says himself, “The best surfers know how to catch the biggest and best waves“.

Rob Tratt of JN Financial has been trading the financial markets since shortly after graduating with a BSc in Economics in 1999. Having started trading futures in January 2001, he has been trading his own account since March 2002. After attending a Larry Williams seminar in 2005, Rob began researching and creating his own innovative trading systems, many of which he has profitably traded over several years.

Rob is a systematic trader and he will be discussing the pros and cons of systematic, or algorithmic, trading, specifically:

  • What systematic trading is, why you should consider it and how you can go about developing a systematic approach to trading
  • The important factors to bear in mind when creating and optimising a trading system and how to avoid the pitfalls that can catch out the unwary
  • How he created a trading system that has made money every year since 1994 across a wide range of markets
  • An introduction to his own proprietary systems that he trades in his fund as well as trading for clients on an advisory basis

In addition, Paul Wallace of the London Traders Network, will be sharing more of his unique insights into trading as a business and Kevin Barry of the Traders & Investors Club will be presenting his latest Market Roundup reviewing the progress of the positions he revealed at the last event and discussing his technical setups for the month ahead.

As before, this event will not be recorded so when it’s over, it’s gone forever.  Please Click on the HyperLink below to be taken to our Eventbrite page and sign up for one of the best days of the year!

The Traders Forum No.3
